Dress for Success

You will feel much more confident if you dress as you would for an in-person interview. Our clients expect us to act and look professional, and we wear business professional attire to the office. We recommend you also dress this way for your video interview.

Remove Distractions

Find a quiet location for your interview, away from distractions such as roommates, pets or children. Remove background clutter and use natural or bright lighting that illuminates your face from the front. Close your browser tabs and turn off social media and text alerts.

Join Early and Prepare

It's important that you feel relaxed and confident when the interview begins. Plan to log into your video call l 0 minutes early in order to check your connection. Have your printed resume, job description and talking points on hand for reference .

Project and Pause

During your call, project your voice and speak clearly and slowly so the microphone can pick up everything you say. The digital connection may be slightly delayed, so pause for a few seconds after your interviewer responds or asks a question to avoid talking over each other.
